Construction Material Calculators
Turn dimensions, volumes and supplier prices into practical planning quantities. Weight estimates are approximate because bulk density changes with moisture, grading and compaction.
Tools in this section
Sand Calculator
Estimate sand volume and approximate weight for construction work.
Aggregate Calculator
Estimate aggregate volume and approximate weight from dimensions.
Material Cost Calculator
Estimate material cost using quantity, unit price, delivery and tax.
Material Density Chart
Reference approximate tons-per-cubic-yard values for common materials.
Conversion Tables
Convert common construction measurements and material units.
Coverage Tables
Review common coverage assumptions for landscaping and construction materials.
How to use these estimates
Start with measured dimensions and the actual product specifications where available. Volume is calculated from the geometry you enter; weight is then estimated using an assumed bulk density. Packaging, moisture, grading, compaction and supplier practices can change the final quantity.
